***Suburban Home is happy to introduce the rock'n’roll band ANIMO, formerly known as DORK. In February 2007 the band decided it was time for a band member to leave and for them to change their name to Animo. The band are picking up from all of the many accomplishments they experienced as Dork and have plans to take the band to the next level. Here are some things they have done as a band: Sold over 9,000 CDs. Played over 500 shows all over North America, including the entire Warped Tour in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In December, 2006 their song "Songwriting for Dummies" was selected as the winner by a panelist of listeners and radio station employees as the number 1 song out of 40 local bands. In January 2007 they had a drumhead put in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame as part of the WarpedTour display. Animo/Dork are also featured in the video that accompanies the display.They have had songs appear on American Pie Presents: Band Camp, MTV, and FUSETV. Named Best Punk Rock Band by Denver’s Westword newspaper in 2003, and 2006, they have also been featured in the paper several times. They rock and have fun.
