***SCOTT MONTEITH aka DEADBEAT needs no introduction to fans of deep contemporary dub maneuvers, especially heads immersed the world of dub techno. Deadbeat graces ZamZam with a dubwise dancehall burner to ram the dance, featuring the inimitable GREGORY ISAACS on vocal. The B Side strips the vocal back and dubs it up laying bare the deep structure of the riddim. Monteith produced this tribute to Mr. Isaacs shortly after the Cool Ruler passed away. The vocal version appeared on Deadbeat’s Soundcloud for a short time, but the massive dub version has never been heard before now. This ZamZam 7” release is limited to 500 copies for the world, hand screen printed by Polygon Press, and pressed on thick vinyl.
