***Debut EP from Los Angeles-based songsmith JACOB DILLAN SUMMERS, who records lush baroque pop and shimmering psychedelia under the name AVID DANCER. Following on the heels of the 2013 single, “Stop Playing With My Heart,” the I Want To See You Dance EP features an array of ‘60s-indebted nuggets, propulsive pop music, and hushed acoustics across its four songs. The short-player precedes an LP (due in 2015), and coincides with the creation of a full band. Having already shared stages with Mac Demarco and Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen, the band will hit the road this September and October in support of the release alongside Kopecky Family Band, Warpaint and Cold War Kids.
