Love Is The Answer

Light In The Attic
7" $6.85

LITA 45-004

RAM was an outgrowth of the hard-hitting Toronto-based funk combo THE HITCH-HIKERS fronted by THE MIGHTY POPE. This incarnation saw none other than singer/guitarist/songwriter WAYNE McGHIE take the helm and hit the studio to record a majestic and positive piece of up-tempo funk that gives Sly & The Family Stone a run for their money. The lineup is bass, drums, guitar, and vocals (Part 2 is an instrumental not available on the Jamaica to Toronto comp), and the result is one of the hardest (and little-known) slices of Jamaican-Canadian funk.
