Hand-numbered and limited to 500. A vinyl re-issue of a long out-of-print and hard to get 2007 cd release, Broken & Remade is a strange mix of post-rock, drone, glitch, jazz, and experimental rock. Each track is constructed from 4-8 second samples of analog instruments, looped and layered in such a way as to blur the lines between digital and analog music, constructed and composed, performance and digital manipulation. Comes with digital download card (including 2 extra tracks not included on vinyl)

To quote Aquarius Records' review of the cd version:

“[T]hick slabs of distorted sound turned into stuttering fuzz drenched drones, chopped into staggered sonic pulses over drifting mariachi trumpet. Intense post rock workouts gradually become more and more dense until they are dizzying squalls of skittering drums and tangled guitar melodies. Pretty far out, but the songs never become unhinged...some seriously deft composition, creating an immensely appealing alien post rock jazz, unlike anything we've heard before.”

Aidan Baker is a multi-instrumentalist, active as a solo musician and with such bands as Nadja, Whisper Room, and Infinite Light Ltd. Baker has toured and performed around the world and released numerous albums on such labels as Alien8 Recordings, Beta-Lactam Ring Records, Important Records, and Essence Music.
