***+/- (PLUS MINUS) specializes in dynamic, loud, Radiohead-ish indie-rock and simultaneously laptop-pop. Experimentation with interesting time signatures and negative space within a hooky hard pop structure. Here, they take on three BLOODTHIRSTY BUTCHERS songs and make them their own. BB was formed in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan in 1987. With their ultra loud almost emo, heavy alterna-rock, transparent and melodious sounds, they are now one of the best band that Japan can boast to the world. The two bands became fast friends while touring Japan and decided to record this split EP. Each band covers three of the other’s songs. Artwork by famous Japanese illustrator YOSHITOMO NARA. Enhanced with live video footage of both bands on stage in Japan.
