Since their formation in 2004, Rochester, NY's old-school black metal band Crucifist has established quite a reputation for themselves with a promising self-released demo and crushing live performances. Now, Profound Lore Records proudly unleashes their debut album on the hungry underground masses.
Demon-Haunted World, which features bassist Danny Lilker (of Brutal Truth / Nuclear Assault / Anthrax / SOD fame) and members of thrash band Orodruin, is pure raw black metal headbanging fury that harkens back to the glory days of Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Venom, and Bathory, with a twisted glory that also incorporates elements of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and the doom 'n' gloom of Black Sabbath.
This eleven-song masterpiece includes an Angel Witch cover and some of the coolest artwork to grace a Profound Lore release yet.
