"The identity of the artists responsible for these compelling compositions is a subject of continuing debate. Transitions of tonality have been handled with considerable subtlety and color has been advantageously used to enliven all ten compositions leading us to believe they are an example of uncommon attainments in their imperfect form. Similar results can be found in playing Marine Girls backwards over Velvet Underground instrumental outtakes. Subjects range from beverages of a lemon flavor to a familiar feeling of experiences pre-happening in the timeframe opposite of the future. The long necked humpacked appearance of the fifth track ('Henry') remains a costumic approach to a categorically "frontal" black painted spandrel.
