Hills offer up two side long jams—each 15 minutes in length that channel the repetition of The Velvet Underground / Parson Sound, Terry Riley influenced meditations and add Ron Asheton atonal Fuzz. The spirit of Bo Anders Persson is kept alive and captured within the grooves of this wonderful vinyl. Hills got together to make music that focuses on the grooves, sounds and rhythms rather than classical songwriting structures. They are heavily dependent on improvisation, which creates a meditative space without rules. Hills give us two sides of ecstatic, ritualistic hyp-no-monotony. Originally a mega limited cassette only release, Hills have recorded a whole new side exclusively for Cardinal Fuzz. This is ahead of their upcoming release on Rocket Recordings.
