***First formed under the moniker of Murder in the Rimac district of Lima in 1984, Kranium assumed its permanent name after a very brief stint under its Spanish-language equivalent, Cráneo. In its earliest days, Kranium played a style of Peruvian deathcore not unlike its Brazilian contemporaries, as evidenced by the blown-out guitar tone that is reminiscent of Necrofago. This primitive approach is exemplified in Kranium's earliest rehearsal and live recordings from 1984-1987, hereby released in the "Inquisidor" compilation by Nuclear War Now!
