***Behold! Lost Goat’s fourth and final album The Dirty Ones is now available on vinyl!

Originally released in 2001 by Tee Pee Records on CD format only, this atom-smashing fusion of Metal, Blues, Doom and Psychedelic riffs can now be experienced in the format it was always intended to be heard... on the sweet sound of vinyl.

Lost Goat was birthed in 1994 in the SF Bay Area underground music scene. It was a golden age before the distractions of smart phones and social media prevailed; when in-real-life and tangible experiences were all that existed. Epic rock shows happened daily in every smoky bar, club, and in basements and warehouses all around the Bay Area. In these spaces Punks, Crusties, Metalheads, and Freaks commingled, and all were welcome. Out of this stew of musical influences, alchemy happened, and Lost Goat was born, creating a sound that was uniquely their own.

The band would spend the next eight years recording and releasing four albums, three 7” records, and tour with bands like High On Fire, Neurosis, Unsane, L7, Dead Moon, and many other luminaries of heavy rock music at that time.

However, all things must come to an end, and so in 2003, Lost Goat disbanded when Erica Stolz decided to move back to her home in NYC. The band members would remain close and go on to pursue other professional and musical endeavors. And in that same time, significant world events and new technologies would occur forever transforming the way of life and music from those early days around the turn of the 21st century.

Then, 25 years later... out of the blue... Steven Devinney of De Twah Records, a dedicated Lost Goat fan emerged with a simple request: ”Can I release The Dirty Ones on vinyl?”.

Lost Goat have obliged, and now this classic of second-wave Psychedelic-Doom Rock is available to you on vinyl.
