Second album for the Melbourne four-piece comprising members of DEAF WISH, TOTAL CONTROL, UV RACE, THE FOCUS, and ‘about a billion other awesome bands’. Recorded on eight-track reel-to-reel tape in one take. ‘On one of the songs you can hear the reel run off,’ band member JENSEN TJHUNG, also of Deaf Wish, told M+N in a recent interview. ‘Then we just left it on the machine for like six months. [Laughs] So we actually recorded it this time last year. These things sometimes take a while.’ Hard Rubbish sees them drop the volume and press play on the downer country vibes, think Opal or Greg Ashley.
