The classic second album from singer/songwriter and harpist JOANNA NEWSOM. Five extended tracks conceived with harp and voice, tracked by STEVE ALBINI, and then meticulously arranged by VAN DYKE PARKS and Newsom over several months. The album features strings, woodwinds, and brass, as well as dulcimer, marimba, various percussive instruments, banjo, mandolin, electric bass (provided by LEE SKLAR), electric guitar (GRANT GEISSEMAN), and accordion (played by Parks). Mixed by JIM O’ROURKE.
