***The Age of Nümonia is the first LP by Montreal new-wave duo Nümonia, featuring artist Ani Kalemkerian on vocals and synths and multi-instrumentalist Jon Asencio (Doughboys, Pest 5000). The Age of Nümonia is a concept album that combines a passion for vintage sci-fi pulp novels, experimental film, and 80’s new wave aesthetic. The album was mixed by the legendary Montreal producer Kevin Komoda (Rational Youth). For fans of Anne Clark, Visage, Gary Numan and John Carpenter’s Horror film soundtracks.

The two travellers sit motionless in the empty compartment as the silver neurotrain glides silently through electronic space. Blue and white lights blink slowly in the blackness outside the window, signalling the action of digital transmogrification. The process is instantaneous yet interminable.
