First time vinyl pressing of The Resident's beautiful, dark, and very personal Snakey Wake album. Recorded in 1987 in tribute to their lost friend and collaborator Philip "Snakefinger" Lithman who died of a heart attack while on tour with his band, The Vestal Virgins on July 1st, 1987. This piece was performed live one time, at a wake for Snakefinger in San Francisco. The studio version was originally released as a fan club only, limited edition CD. This LP includes both the studio version AND the live version and has been remastered for vinyl. This is a limited edition of only 300 copies on black vinyl in beautiful gatefold jackets.
