BING 221

With four members from divergent backgrounds and varied influences, Stockholm's Sodakill carries the energy of garage rock, the intensity of metal, the positivity of glam and the charisma of great pop music.

Julia (vocals/guitar), Beatrice (guitar), My (bass) and Astrid (drums) only started playing shows two years ago, following a few months working out their first batch of songs. That short timeline is incredible when witnessing the power of their live show. My and Astrid concentrate the low end towards a bouncing heaviness that projects through the room, while Beatrice’s winding guitar runs and Julia’s monstrous growl showcase a band who take equal inspiration from nascent grunge as they do New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Sodakill was self-funded and self-released, the band selling it at live shows and dropping a few into Swedish music shops. Through special arrangement, Ba Da Bing will be providing the opportunity to stock this incredible record. It’s an album of a band at peak energy, and a sign of great music to come.
