***A new album split between sound artists MICHAEL GENDREAU and FRANCISCO LOPEZ. Gendreau's side is an incredible journey through a forest of alternately prickly and soothing sounds generated from turntable motor hum, belts, and run out grooves. Lopez used similar source material for his side, creating a beautiful oceanic wall of sound based (predominantly) on crackle, hum, and scratches.
