Templars

***What, you thought TKO was all done reissuing the TEMPLARS’ back catalog? Oh, ye of little faith. As long as there are deep cuts to unearth, we’ll keep digging. Enter Effossus: 1993-1999.

Effossus is an "all killer, no filler" collection of long out-of-print Templars rarities forged in the same mold as the Reconquista series. All four tracks from the 1994 Beauseant EP are finally back on wax for the first time in over 20 years, not to mention the first time ever stateside. True-blue fanatics are well aware that this is some of the best early Templars material. Now even Johhny-Come-Latelys can act like they always knew.

Also collected are rare alternate versions of staples “Right To Work” and “New York”, raucous renditions of classics by Cockney Rejects and the Oppressed and two previously ultra-rare bonus tracks that only the most devoted Templars scholars have heard.

Like an archeological dig-site replete with bomber jackets and oxblood DMs, the Templars’ discography is a deep well of priceless history ripe for rediscovery. And just as great leaders of antiquity are immortalized in stone, Effossus is another brick in the monument to North American Oi’s undeniable kings.

Edition of 666 copies on black vinyl.
