A golden treasury of twenty-four good night songs, soft and soothing "for quiet or nap time," selected from the most beautiful traditional music the world has to offer and sung by two great artists: American mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne recipient of the National Medal of Arts, the Kennedy Center Honors, and winner of four Grammy Awards; and Richard Robinson, who premiered Igor Stravinsky's "In Memoriam: Dylan Thomas," "Threni" and "Elegy for J.F.K.," and recorded many works under the composer's direction for Columbia Records.
