Hobo Sunrise by Hunches

Hunches

Hobo Sunrise
In The Red

***Bigger, badder and better than The Hunches' debut, Hobo Sunrise has monstrous fuzzball guitar explosions, overwrought screaming, poppy melody and a couple songs that are almost pretty. Shades of The Birthday Party, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pussy Galore, The Velvet Underground and The Pixies can all be detected here, but the sound and presentation is completely original. This fourteen-song monolith is certain to be a standout rock moment in 2004. The Hunches exploded onto the Portland, Oregon music scene in 2002 with Yes. No. Shut It., a debut album that can best be described as "crazy." Byron Coley wrote in Mojo, "This album is very goddamn good ....[E]very time I play it I wanna bust something up." It's wild, noisy, extreme and, at times, melodic. The album and the tours that followed both in the U.S. and Europe quickly earned The Hunches a reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Hobo Sunrise is preceded by a three-track seven-inch single titled "Fuck Disco Beats" (ITR112) -- a message from The Hunches to all the bands who seem to think Gang Of Four is a genre.

Piscis Clangor by Piranhas

Piranhas

Piscis Clangor
In The Red

Detroit's Piranhas have carved quite a reputation for themselves in their short existence. Their live shows have been described as terrifying, confrontational, dangerous, offensive, intrusive and confusing amongst other things (all of it quite accurate). With live shows legendary for their violence and mayhem it has somehow been overlooked that the band is also responsible for some of the most original music going today. Punk? Prog? No Wave? It's all of these and none of them. Screaming vocals, frantic tempos, fractured song structures, left-field time changes, whirling carnival organ all executed with a demented sheen of pure art damage that would make The Residents proud. The Piranhas vinyl-only EP is presented with loads of pretension and no apologies - eight songs in exactly 23 minutes.

Fuck Disco Beats
In The Red

***A teaser EP to the upcoming Hobo Sunrise album from Portland, Oregon's hate-spewing rock'n'roll speaker splatterers the HUNCHES. The album track, "Fuck Disco Beats," is the band's response to the current crop of groups that think Gang of Four is a genre, while the two exclusive cuts, "When I Became You" and "Jakob's Voices," drive the loud and abrasive factor to new heights. Packaged in full-color gloss sleeves.

***Take a minute to think about the state of your existence right now. Everything okay? Complete garbage? Or maybe it's a confusing mess that maybe someday you expect to truly fathom. Whatever you got going, kiss it good-bye. For better or worse, you will soon be able to divide your life in half - a time before you heard the King Brothers, and after. Oh, it's gonna be different. Fucking different. Count on it.   Hailing from Japan and barely out of high school - as if any of us are any different - the King Brothers have already started setting rock'n'roll music and anything else in their path on fire. With releases on a major label in Japan and on Bulb in the United States, this-two-guitars-and-drums trio's In The Red debut crams punk rock, blues and noise into a meat grinder and smears what comes out with lots of nasty screaming. Harsh, wild and in your face - hell, yes - and deliciously mightay, mightay.   "See them before they all have heart attacks." -Firestarter Magazine, Japan  "Definitely the best band in the world." -Eric Oblivian, The Oblivians  "Few live acts make me drop my beer.… I lost my Schlitz when I raised my hands in glee at the coccyx-crunching, psycho-blues racket produced by these three polite maniacs from Nishinomiya City, Japan. Something In The Water by Mystery Girls

Mystery Girls

Something In The Water
In The Red

***There must be an explanation for at least ten outstanding new, young rock’n’roll bands all currently working their mojos in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Definitely at the head of the class, The Mystery Girls play sloppy, rambunctious, blues-infused… okay, let’s just say it: they play garage rock. For a musical style that has been around for approximately forty years and attempted by every social reject who ever picked up a guitar, very few do it well. The Mystery Girls do it amazing. Something In The Water is a timeless blast that lays waste to the current crop championed by overseas porn mags such as NME. This is the real dope, daddy — Midwestern kids, some still not old enough to drink legally, who have nothing better to do than get high and study the riffs and nuances of every ’60s and ’70s garage punk album ever recorded and try to master them. The Mystery Girls are so masterful it’s almost scary. A lot of bands might claim to be inspired by the MC5 and Brian Jones-era Stones, but The Mystery Girls genuinely sound like a legitimate cross between the two. Their debut album on Trickknee Records last year was an instant classic. Extensive touring of the US has earned a legion of young fans and proved them to be a real force in the world of underground rock. Something In The Water was recorded at the fashionable Ghetto Recorders in Detroit by the producer of the moment Jim Diamond.  •...

***Few familiar modern garage rock’n’roll would find fault with the view that Greg Cartwright is one of the today’s brightest talents. His singing and songwriting are second to none, as demonstrated in his previous bands The Oblivians and The Compulsive Gamblers. The Reigning Sound, his current vehicle, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, sired by a Flash & The Memphis Casuals 45 and nursed by a Barbara Pittman single. Childhood was not easy for this musical what-not. Kids shunned it for its rock’n’roll sensibility and obvious lack of polished shtick. In true stepchild fashion, though, the band continued to develop a unique sound all its own that didn’t really focus on preconceived genres. Rock’n’roll, R&B, gospel, pop and soul all melt into their The Reigning Sound’s distinctive Memphis sound. Their debut album on Sympathy For The Record Industry demonstrated their talents for crafting great, moody soundscapes. Their second album, Timebomb High School on In The Red, captures their full spectrum, from rockers to ballads. On Too Much Guitar, Cartwright goes for the throat with their hardest edged, toughest recording to date. Half recorded at Memphis’s famed Easley Studios and half recorded by Jay and Alicja of the Lost Sounds inside Cartwright’s own Legba record store, the album is a powerhouse that at times recalls the garage punk energy of The Oblivians — no doubt what a lot of his fans have been waiting for.

***This beautiful double-gatefold 7-inch release serves as a reminder that the DEADLY SNAKES' Ode To Joy was one of the best rock'n'roll releases of 2003. This single features "I Can't Sleep At Night" from Ode To Joy (a favorite on Little Steven's Underground Garage radio show) as well as three previously unreleased tracks—"Nasty Boots" (a very Rolling-Stones-inspired original), "Big Bird" (originally done by Eddie Floyd), and "Shot Down" (an early Neil Diamond track).

Shapes Of Venus by Clone Defects

Clone Defects

Shapes Of Venus
In The Red

***The Clone Defects have come crashing out of the current Detroit rock'n'roll scene like a comet penetrating the Earth's atmosphere. Lead by wildman-about-town Tim Vulgar, The Clone Defects have earned quite a reputation over the last several years for their no-holds-barred live shows and their uncompromising recordings. The Clone Defects are rock'n'roll to the core: foul-mouthed, dirty, alcohol-fueled aggression that rightfully blasts out of the hi-fi at a pill party. They've released three singles (the first of which was recorded and produced by White Stripes' Jack White) and one album - monoliths of pure rock action all. On Shapes Of Venus, they continue to blaze the same trail as their previous releases with even sharper songwriting skills. The sound is a biting mix of glam rock, Killed-By-Death-style punk, and some natural born midwest insanity. Some bands go out of their way to act weird, wild and fucked up, whereas the Clone Defects can't help it. This is the real article.  * Two words: Deeeee-troit!  * Three words: weird, wild, fucked  * Three more words: In The Red  * Previous single produced by Jack White of White Stripes

Laced With Romance by Ponys

Ponys

Laced With Romance
In The Red

The music of The Ponys is so delicate when you warm up to it, and yet so destructive and mesmerizing, it's hard to see straight once it kicks in. It's tough to imagine the effect on an unsuspecting world it will have. The songs of this Chicago band challenge the DIY aesthetic to the point not everybody can do it themselves anymore. The timing, the vocal inflection, the tremendous build up and crashing - it's an all-new playing field and it's pretty damn exciting. If psychedelic music is supposed to be drippy and lazy, then you can't compare this at all. "Pop" is also way too broad of a term to fit, but once you let these songs plug into your receptacles, it all becomes quite clear. "Noise" is just as unworthy of a description, but begins to tap into the fortified power that's ended so many live shows with a feedback-destroyed eardrum or two. Somehow The Ponys cleverly destroy everything that you used to hate, and then force you to love it with such a unique, swirling sound and jaggedly perverse style that you're left in an orange haze of confusion, pleasure, and overwhelming satisfaction. Seriously. You know, the stuff Mick Jagger wanted to get his hands on so desperately. It really seems that songs like these haven't been written in a long time. Everything's been done before, right? Wrong. Jered's vocals may echo the desperation of Richard Hell, and those chilling keyboards may recall the perfect Velvet Underground,...

Fisherman's Wife by Fuse

Fuse

Fisherman's Wife
In The Red

***As their description by one writer as "Crass meets The Who" should make obvious, The Fuse! must be seen and heard to be believed. Three razor sharp Hispanic kids (known mysteriously as F-1, F-2, and F-3) from Downey, California (home of the Carpenters), instantly surpass all revolutionary rhetoric by literally attacking their instruments as well as physically assaulting the audience. The Fuse! don't need to spend all day perfecting their chops; their guitar is going right through your skull as you dance uncontrollably to an insane racket of total discontent. But there are actual songs on Fisherman's Wife, too. They are the sound of the new frustration.  Anyone who has peeked into F-2's journal while he frantically scribbles in it at the Three of Clubs (where he's always sipping some pink tropical drink) knows that he's nothing short of a mad, pissed genius. The Fuse! are way too impatient to be part of the aping-Gang-Of-Four-and-PiL scene, and are way too violent for boring punk-blues scholarship. Big sigh of relief there, right? Two years into their chaotic career and they've already had a documentary made about them - before releasing an actual recording.  * From insane racket to actual songs - the whole spectrum on one album  * Documentary-worthy Crass-meets-The-Who mayhem  * Downey rocks, Whittier shakes!

***The third and most cohesive album to date by Detroit's Dirtbombs guarantees to get the party started. I Got A Baaad Feeling - Complete Recordings by Blacktop

Blacktop

I Got A Baaad Feeling - Complete Recordings
In The Red

***Blacktop was the first in a series of post-Gories bands led by Mick Collins. In the summer of 1994 he traveled south to Denton, Texas, to collaborate with Darin Lin Wood, Alex Cuervo and Janet Walker and create the band that would be dubbed Blacktop. They wanted a heavier sound than the Gories or Darin’s band Fireworks (both bass-less), so they added a bass and plenty of bottom in the production. The result is a mutant cross between The Gories’ raw R’n’B skronk and the Birthday Party’s overwrought squeal. The record was received warmly by fans and the press alike when it was first released, and tours soon followed. This is about the time everything started to go horribly wrong. Problems with chemistry and chemicals soon ravaged the band and they imploded on the eve of their debut European tour. I’ve Got A Baaad Feeling About This – The Complete Recordings collects everything done by the band during their brief existence onto one CD — their entire album, single sides and tracks found only on the Australian issue of their album. Both the artwork and the mastering have been given serious overhauls to make this an essential purchase for any Detroit garage aficionado.

***Secret Weapon Revealed At Last aka Full Moon Empty Sports Bag is the The Country Teasers’ first proper full length album in four years (not counting Science Hat Artistic Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire, a collection of odds and sods released by In The Red last year). On Secret Weapon Revealed At Last we find the band at their rawest and most uncompromising — an unlikely marriage of post-punk, industrial clatter, country, and roots music that is damaged to such a degree that Johnny Cash don’t know but Gibby Haynes understands. Oh, we should also mention that the Country Teasers records are designed to offend those with PC values … mainly due to the fact that those with PC values certainly deserve to be offended deeply. Demented and always unpredictable, the Country Teasers are a true original and one of the last bands that matters.

Ode To Joy is The Deadly Snakes' third album and it's their finest moment to date, even hotter than their first two albums. It refines their attack with galloping rhythms, weeping turns to gospel, and the horn section leans into New Orleans funk. These guys have got a Memphis soul-gone-punk rock sound nnnnnnailed. Back in 2ØØØ three 2Ø-year-olds belched up one extremely raw debut recording: in your face, out of tune, overblown, 1ØØ% pure raunch that you could actually dance to… kind of. They toured the States and Europe to wild acclaim for their explosive live performances. The Horrors are now finally ready to drop their second album; this time they traveled to Memphis, and enlisted Greg Cartwright (formerly of The Oblivians, currently with Reigning Sound) to produce at the legendary Easley Studios. The results are what could be called a quantum leap for the band; some of the words are actually understandable this time. The boys still lay down quite a filthy blend of country blues, rockabilly and retardo garage punk, but this time the results are much more cohesive and, well, danceable. Kind of. This is a sincere and honest attempt by The Horrors to create rock'n'roll along the lines of the bands they worship - The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Howlin' Wolf. The end results, however, earn them a rightful place along side the likes of The Gories and The Oblivians in the scuzz blues hall of fame. There's no one else doing this type of shit as good as The Horrors these days - believe that!

***From outta Dallas, Texas, comes this new psycho four-piece ready to rip you a new aural a-hole. They swiped their name from a berserk novel by Harry Crews and match the insanity of that book with grimy ass-shakin' swagger, spats of slide guitar, and the odd pained outburst of screaming distortion. Think the noisiest and most overwrought moments from Birthday Party, The Scientists and Black Flag. Alex Cuervo's name should be familiar to In The Red aficionados; he was in Blacktop and the King Sound Quartet, and is currently in the Gospel Swingers and Now Time Delegation. James Arthur was in Fireworks and the Necessary Evils. Together in Feast of Snakes they've found a means to channel what is, apparently, their abundant supply of angst and rage. They've already released one vinyl seven-inch EP in Australia (long out of print), which they're following up with this limited edition, 8-song vinyl-only pressing on In The Red. Piranhas

Erotic Grit Movies
In The Red

This hotly anticipated debut album from Detroit, Michigan's The Piranhas delivers on the promise of the band's two seven-inch singles and twelve-inch single released on the Tom Perkins and Rock n' Roll Blitzkrieg labels. These early releases have garnered rave reviews and helped land them on the cover of Maximum Rock'n'Roll. Their chaotic live shows have earned them a reputation as one of the few truly primal and dangerous bands around. Their music is a violent head-on collision between art-skronk abstraction and raw punk savagery. Like a mutant cross between Hearpen-era Pere Ubu and Damaged-era Black Flag, with a dose of mid-'70s Cleveland punk poured over the top for good measure. Yet they still sound like nothing else you've heard before.   "The Piranhas fucking destroy. The Piranhas may be the best band of this era. Bitterness, Rage & Scorn by Melchior's Broke Revue, Dan

Melchior's Broke Revue, Dan

Bitterness, Rage & Scorn
In The Red

***Anything even remotely blues-influenced was thought to be pretty much beyond the pale until a short while ago. Dan Melchior has been playing his own twisted and driving take on barebones rock'n'roll for several years now, making appearances on over 20 commercially released recordings while constantly honing his own lyrical attack and idiosyncratic way with a tune.  Influences as disparate as Creedence, The Fall, and William Blake blend seamlessly, especially in his most fully realized work to date, Bitterness, Spite, Rage and Scorn, the second album on In The Red Records by Melchior and the Broke Revue. With Bruno Meyrick Jones on guitar, Brad Truax on bass, and Greg Anderson on drums holding a rock-steady yet fluid groove behind him, Melchior holds forth with an uncompromising and extremely articulate vision and voice. The playing of the band is suberb, disciplined yet funky. Longtime collaborator Jones really shines on this recording , while Truax and Anderson shift effortlessly from one muscular groove to another.  The engineering expertise and general sonic know-how of Mike McHugh helps the band push their sound into unexpected avenues, resulting in eclectic but cohesive album, delivered with the intensity and fire In The Red fans have every right to expect.  Like his buddy Wild Billy Childish, Dan Melchior plunders elderly American musical styles … and then rams 'em back home to us as outpourings of some eccentric and curmudgeonly Brit weirdo who's sorta like an overamped Doc Boggs.… Melchior … freely combine[s] second-hand Delta...

Got Some Hate
In The Red

***Loud, noisy, aggressive rock n' roll—this is what THE HUNCHES are all about, and they deliver it in spades. Hailing from Portland, Oregan and averaging 21 years of age, The Hunches have knowledge of rock n' roll's heritage that betrays their youth. They draw on all the classic influences one would expect from any great rock n' roll band (Stones, Saints, Captain Beefheart, New York Dolls, Stooges, Cramps, '60s punk, '70s punk, blues, etc.) and manhandle it with an irreverent abrasiveness. A lot of bands are claiming similar influences, but The Hunches sound is totally their own. Pure nastiness filtered through rock n' roll romanticism. Just check out "Got Some Hate" for a dose of unadulterated punk rock bile. Their live shows are the things of legend—they tear shit up with reckless abandon. This is raw rock bliss. Science Hat Artist Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire by Country Teasers

Country Teasers

Science Hat Artist Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire
In The Red

***The COUNTRY TEASERS are best known for their stunning output on the Crypt and Fat Possum labels. How a band of Scots and Londoners crazily influenced by the likes of The Fall, Joy Division, Devo, Bauhaus, hip hop and country & western music wound up recording for labels best known for American rootsy-down-home-style output is anyone's guess. But here they are again with their most expansive and eclectic endeavor to date.  Science Hat Artistic Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire collects obscure singles, demos, outtakes and home recordings spanning the band's seven-year existence. 'Teasers front man Ben Wallers painstakingly pored through nearly twenty hours of material to find the best forty selections for the vinyl, and twenty for the CD, the concept being that each set of ten tracks represents a complete album. All together: "huh?" Wallers insists the double-vinyl set is actually four albums—pressed in an edition of one-thousand in a beautiful color gatefold jacket, by the way—and the compact disc, with twenty tracks extracted from that collection, is actually two albums.  Science Hat Artistic Cube Moral Nosebleed Empire offers the broadest range of the Country Teasers' styles, from the most savagely raw post-punk stomps to experimental electronic blow-outs. This collection is absolute proof that the Country Teasers are one of the most original bands around today.  * Popular group with previous releases on Crypt and Fat Possum  * Brilliant (and until now) underappreciated band

Beginning Of The End - End Of Beginning by Lord High Fixers

Lord High Fixers

Beginning Of The End - End Of Beginning
In The Red

***For the past six years TIM KERR and the LORD HIGH FIXERS kicked up one of the craziest rackets to ever come out of Texas. Fronted by MIKE CARROLL, who had previously led POISON 13 along with Kerr (Now TIme Delegation, King Sound Quartet, Big Boys, Jack O'Fire), the Lord High Fixers made music drawing on influences from all over the musical map. Garage, punk, blues, free jazz, beat poetry and hip hop elements all found their way into the 'Fixers topography. Their rare live performances were the stuff of legend—chaos reigned supreme, with band members falling into each other, instruments getting unplugged and broken, bones, cartilage and skin all enduring more than their fair share of abuse. A band like this could only exist for so long before burning out, and The Beginning of the End is the final statement by this ambitious band, who are certainly exiting on a high note. Tim Kerr's guitar duets with free jazz saxophonist KEN VANDERMARK here are unlike anything else on a garage rock record. Even the straight garage rock is exceptional; why else would Byron Coley have bothered to write the band's liner notes / epitaph?  * Popular garage-punk blues outfit by Tim Kerr, whose pedigree in untamed wildness is long, solid, and beyond reproach  * Previously successful releases on Estrus  * Liner notes by Byron Coley

Ghetto Mom / Do Ya Wanna Get It by Spencer, Jon Blues Explosion

Spencer, Jon Blues Explosion

Ghetto Mom / Do Ya Wanna Get It
In The Red

***In The Red proudly announces the fifth installment of their JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION jukebox singles collection series. This single marks the ten-year anniversary of the first ITR jukebox single released in 1992. Like its predeccesors, Jukebox Single # 5 features two songs exclusive to this single—they are not on the band's upcoming Plastic Fang album. "Ghetto Mom," the A-side, is a wailing punk number as aggressive as anything the band has ever recorded. "Do You Wanna Get It," the B-side, blows out the walls with a fuzz stomper featuring the keyboard finesse of none other than DR. JOHN himself! Both sides were produced by STEVE JORDAN—the man who produced and played drums for Keith Richards solo endeavors. Needless to say, everyone involved had their Rolling Stones obsessions fulfilled here.

JUKEBOX SINGLE # 5

***DAN MELCHIOR has collaborated with BILLY CHILDISH and THE HEADCOATS, and recorded and toured extensively with HOLLY GOLIGHTLY of THEE HEADCOATEES. His solo releases draw from the work of maverick American folk musicians like Skip James, Fred McDowell, Dock Boggs and Robert Wilkins, while retaining a sense of adventure and passion lost in over reverent interpretations. In his recent work with the BROKE REVUE—GREG ANDERSON, BRUNO MEYRICK JONES, and B.L. TRUAX—Melchior marries a love of country blues and R&B to a new sonic extreme, utilizing the misanthropic fury of '70s punk and the drive of classic '60s catalysts. Recorded at JERRY TEEL's Funhouse studio in New York, this album ups the stakes, pushing Melchior's hard-driving minimalist approach into new places altogether. The result is vitriol-fueled rock 'n' roll with brains and big balls—or bollocks, if you will.

Ultraglide In Black by Dirtbombs

Dirtbombs

Ultraglide In Black
In The Red

Mick Collins and his merry band of Dirtbombs (which, this time around, features Bantam Rooster's Tom Potter and Detroit studio wiz Jim Diamond) bring the soul on their sophomore album Ultraglide In Black, named after Ultraglide in Blue, a cool late-nite flick from your youth. All the influences that helped shaped his sonic psyche are in the forefront here - Sly & the Family Stone, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, Parliament, the Miracles and host of others too obscure to mention all have their presence felt. If the Temptations owned fuzz pedals and read too many comic books they might've sounded something like this. There are a lot of young bands claiming to be creating "soul" music and "testifying" (we won't name names) but this here is the authentic item - accept no substitutes.  "The Dirtbombs' combination of squealing feedback-driven guitar, dual drumming and walloping bass presence rivals that of the Velvet Underground. Imagine the Velvets, Gories and Oblivians battling to the death inside a tuna fish can, their raw and ultra crude instrumentation blazing away with hell-bent fury. Led by Mick Collins (who spent time fronting the Gories and the rockabilly grunge outfit Blacktop), the Dirtbombs' distinctive Motown howl and wicked axe slingin' escapades shred like one of Dolemite's rapid-fire, X-rated monologues.… Collins executes some snarling, self-professed "cyclone" guitar riffs underneath the stomping, mummified mayhem. These Detroit cavemen have found their place in a fuzz-drenched, garage band sound reminiscent of Question Mark and the Mysterians fused with...

Shake Your Monkey by Screws

Screws

Shake Your Monkey
In The Red

Mick Collins and the Screws have toured the US and Japan since the release of their debut of two years ago. The Screws feature the guitar and vocal stylings of Terri Wahl (formerly of the Red Aunts) as well as a new rhythm section for their sophomore effort. This time around the Screws have shed some of their punk rock attack in favor of a more R'n'B/blues beat. While Terri and Mick's guitar assault remains pure no-wave psychosis, the tone is more juke joint than slam pit this time around. Ike Turner, John Lee Hooker and even techno giants Groove Armada get mangled by the Screws' treatment. Mick Collins says, "If you can't dance or fuck to it, then it ain't rock n' roll." Well, this is rock n' roll. "Ladies and gentlemen, let's please recognize The Screws. [They] embody rock and roll at its most happily misanthropic. Their … show at EJ's was a rowdy beer-spiller and their self-titled album on In the Red Records reeks of grime and poison. While the Screws' blend of lobotomized blues and fuzz-destroyed rock and roll certainly won't win a lot of crossover sales from members of the Celine Dion Fan Club, it's perfect for … odes to transgression." -Willamette Week

Mississippi B/a La Muertos
In The Red

***From Austin, TX, comes this brand new band that sports an excellent pedigree in underground trash rock. Former members of Blacktop, Fireworks and Ronnie Dawson's band—three members who currently perform in the NOW TIME DELEGATION, and a wailing, harp-blowing lead vocalist named Quincy who could pass for Mick Collins' little brother. Produced by Tim Kerr, this is exactly what you're smart enough to expect—hard-driving, soul-injected rock 'n' roll. Don't let the smooth 4AD-looking sleeve fool you....

***In 1999 JERRY TEEL (HONEYMOON KILLERS, CHROME CRANKS), KID CONGO POWERS (THE CRAMPS, GUN CLUB, NICK CAVE's BAD SEEDS), BOB BERT (SONIC YOUTH, PUSSY GALORE), JACK MARTIN (LITTLE PORKCHOP), and BARRY LONDON came together and recorded and released their self-titled debut album. THE KNOXVILLE GIRLS lay down a raw blend of country/western, soul, rockabilly and blues as interpreted by their collective Lower East Side psyche. They've been described as "no wave country" and "a cross between Charlie Feathers and the Velvet Underground." They've toured extensively in the US and Europe to enthusiastic response. Bigger, louder and grittier than their debut, In A Paper Suit is an absolute rock'n'roll masterpiece. The Rolling Stones would pay good money to call this album their own.

Are you ready for real SOUL music? Then get ready for the NOW TIME DELEGATION! The NOW TIME DELEGATION have reared their heads to show everybody just how it's done.
