Designer, photographer, and creator of the Cheap & Plastique fanzine, Christine Navin, texturizes the sonic landscape on dual synthesizers as Tom Derwent, founder of the Lost Treasures of the Underworld record label, writes the next uncompromising chapter in his gripping new guitar adventures. Electrique Kiss!, was recorded at the Vis Invis studio in Brooklyn, NY, between mid-2019 and February 2020. The album features studio recordings of material written for the Meakusma Festival (Belgium, 2019), inspired by the couples time spent together in New York City, along with their most delightful & cutting-edge new works, which were created through a very organic, spontaneous, and unconscious musical process. Artwork for the “Electrique Kiss!” LP was created by Heather Morgan, who recently painted the cover art for John Waters’ latest book, “Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder,” published by Little, Brown Book Group.
