So it makes perfect sense that she would return to the city of her birth and tap long-time Detroit friends (and psych rock idols) MEDUSA CYCLONE for a split seven-inch. SorryEverAfter's two contributions, "Dim" and "Blueyes," shift the band's gears as they move away from the structured power pop of their successfully received EP Meet Us When the Lights Go Low and explore darker, more ominous tones. Layered guitars, shimmering vocals, and driving back beat are all still here. But the sinister nature of life and how to live it reveals itself within the body of these songs and such revelations never sounded so good.
