***Received a 7.2 rating from Pitchfork. The Light Is Leaving Us All is more music from Current 93, everyone’s favorite hallucinatory cuneiform super-group. Three years in the making, The Light Is Leaving Us All contains spells within its eleven tracks. C93 are possibly, probably, certainly perhaps: Alasdair Roberts, Aloma Ruiz Boada, Andrew Liles, Ben Chasny, David Tibet, Michael J. York, Ossian Brown, Reinier van Houdt, Rita Knuistingh Neven, and Thomas Ligotti. Remember, remember, your future cartoon is as soft as the tarot! “...perfectly unfolds like a darkly entrancing folktale that seethes and swirls with so much mystery, depth, poetry, and hidden meaning...” —Brainwashed

Myrninerest is the new Hallucinatory Cartoon channelled by David Tibet in order to work outside Current 93 with some of the artists and friends he admires the most. This harrowing and haunted debut centers on Tibet’s friendship with and love for the late Jhonn Balance of Coil as well as Balance’s death and how it affected the circle of friends around him. The album was recorded in February 2012 with James Blackshaw on classical guitar and harmonium and Tibet as vocalist, and was mixed by Andrew Liles (Current 93, Nurse With Wound). All lyrics were written by Tibet; Blackshaw composed the music. It comes in a full-color digipack with a 20-page booklet containing the album’s text and reproductions of two charcoal drawings by Balance himself, who also did the two paintings on the CD and booklet covers.

***“A beautiful addition to DAVID TIBET’s loving tribute to JHONN BALANCE ov COIL, a new soundtrack to DEREK JARMAN’s 'Journey To Avebury' short—Jhonn's favourite piece by the legendary film maker. MICHAEL CASHMORE rearranges and plays piano based on 'Crow Hotel/To Be Trapeze' by James Blackshaw from the 'Jhonn’, Uttered Babylon' album, while ANDREW LILES is credited with "Electric Rain" and DAVID MICHAEL with ‘Voice’. Sublime stuff, sends shivers down the spine.”—Boomkat
