***VIV ALBERTINE is returning to music after a break of 25 years. Her first band, THE FLOWERS OF ROMANCE was formed with her flatmate Sid Vicious. Sid went on to The Sex Pistols and Viv to become guitarist and main songwriter with THE SLITS. Viv debuts her solo career with an EP on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label and will be followed by an album early summer. Viv's songs are cute and dark with personal, almost confessional lyrics. The result is beautifully uncomplicated, stripped down and raw. Viv’s band LIMERENCE are: Katherine Wallinger, Dan Donovan, and Rob Beattie.
