***Two unreleased demo sessions from 1983 (one recorded at the legendary Mystic Studios) from this cult SoCal death rock tinged punk outfit. Bargain savvy punk gourmands may recognize this group from their 1984 12" EP released on Mystic Records. Though that record is rich with an experimental spirit and a penchant for gloomy atmosphere, Corpus Delicti's early demos--presented here--show a more HB strut friendly punk energy, not unlike TSOL at their most ghoulish. This collection of seldom heard material fits Corpus Delicti squarely in the patchwork of gloomy SoCal punk that spawned such eclectic groups as 45 Grave, Kommunity FK, Voodoo Church and the like.
