Here we find ourselves, among the Canadian miscreants Egregore whereupon they return from whence the wind howls like a damned choir and the Earth knows no master, to chart a broader sonic wilderness via It Echoes In The Wild. And much as sea-rogues and freebooters sought fortune upon blackened waters, so too does Egregore venture musically into diabolic and ungoverned lands.Presenting something more expansive, elemental and untamed on It Echoes In The Wild, the early occult black death metal lunacy embraces atmospheric breadth equally alongside primitive force to delve deep into not only geographic wilds, but the psychological, esoteric and spiritual hinterlands at the edges of complete madness. Dark invocations and secret tongues draw forth echoes from forest and fen, cave and cliff, tempting the temporally tethered to receive the curse, all the while driven by a primal, unknowable sardonic menace.Though the voyage be perilous, to succumb to It Echoes In The Wild is to become ensconced in a lawless dominion of the soul in service of a higher call. Mirroring nature’s unbridled forces and the hidden echoes that dwell within, Egregore’s second album takes the band’s mystical insanity and magickal perversion to the edge of the abyss and plunges forward.

***The debut album from dark esoteric grindcore act Egregore (not to be confused with the Canadian black metal band) takes us into ominous realms rarely explored before by, and in the genre: those of metaphysical occultism and supernatural darkness; a descent into the immaterial self and into alternate realities to transform a tradition inspired by bands like Carcass, Discharge, Convulse, Demigod, Terrorizer and Napalm Death into a destructive psychic mind-weapon. Egregore's grim and mystical amalgam of '90s death metal, crust, and grind aims to use the timeless lesson cemented chiefly by Carcass's Heartwork and Necroticism albums to disintegrate the corporeal self, transfigure the soul and open the listener's third eye unto a superior reality dominated by obscure forces, invisible powers, and higher truths. A passageway album using sonic destruction as a key to dimensions above and beyond the self, Synchronistic Delusions continues the band's explorative synthesis into the unknown, bridging '90s death metal and grind, black metal, crust punk and esoteric projections derived from jungian philosophy, occultism, supernatural theology and paranormal cabalism to destroy reality and liberate the mind from its carnal prison.

***ON LIMITED GOLD / BLACK MERGE VINYL!!! Egregore, a hitherto unknown entity in the narrow boundaries of the material world, now appears for the first time with the obscure musical treatise The Word Of His Law: An address to Abraxas in his time and place, through his Grand Viseer, Thine Panpsycopompos. This enigmatic incantation offers a first glimpse of a developing musical universe in a state of primeval expansion. Upon the principal element of ancient chaotic underground black death metal, Egregore conjures an uncanny aura of supernatural presence, as though the songs simply pass through them from some other sphere of existence. A self-satisfied work of tradition alone was never in the cards, however, as Egregore brandish synths, arcane chanting and soaring guitar leads among other spells creating a truly underground work of creative vitality and occult sorcery. Album closer “An Address To Abraxas” even morphs into Neo-folk domains. Through the debut album The Word Of His Law, Egregore offer an evolved appeal to where spiritual underground art can go, never sacrificing the too often lacking mystical components of the clandestine, otherworldly and the truly unorthodox.
