***Ohio is rotting. Fistula has teamed up with Crucial Blast once again to deliver a heavy dose of septic, lumbering death-sludge in the form of Goat, a five-song EP based on the ghoulish discovery of eleven rotting bodies in the Cleveland home of serial killer Anthony Sowell. This pulverizing, slime-covered drag and primitive death metal rot follows in the blood tracks of Frost, Autopsy and Winter, filtered through Fistula's uniquely mangled and inebriated scum-haze. These Akron, Ohio, sludge creeps have specialized in extreme nihilism since 2000, combining crushing, slow-motion doom and messy, intensely anti-social death metal and thrash influences. Over the past decade, the band has released several full-lengths (2001's Hymns of Slumber and 2003's Idiopathic on Shifty Records, 2008's Burdened by Your Existence on the Swedish label Plague Island, and 2009's We, The Beast on Choking Hazard) as well as a steady flow of noxious EPs and splits.  "Grab the rot-gut whiskey and unfiltered cigarettes, because Fistula's back....
