After three long years, we have you here a new album by FLESHIES, a loud band from beautiful Oakland, CA, who have released two loved-to-death-by-the-kids albums on Alternative Tentacles. After their second full-length Th e Sicilian (Virus 297) and years of body/mind-warping worldwide tour marathon, FLESHIES withdrew into drummer Brian Hamiltron's Sugar Mountain Studios to work on a new opus. Breaking away from the punk rock tradition of banging out a record in a few days, they took their damned sweet time making the most ridiculous album possible. Scrape Th e Walls is a spirited 17-song eff ort to molest punk rock in a similar manner that SPARKS unwholesomely molested glitter rock, THE MELVINS mauled rock, or THE BUTTHOLE SURFERS maimed music in general. An unrelenting assault, FLESHIES’ second full-length, The Sicilian, produced by Alex Newport (FUDGE TUNNEL, THEORY OF RUIN, RATOS DE PARAO), pushes punk in a new direction - visceral, overdriven punk rock explosions carried to new dizzying heights. Loud, hilarious, concise and ugly, FLESHIES whip audiences into a frenzy. One of the world’s foremost fun and intelligent bands. Guaranteed to play another 150 shows in 2003!!!

***A blood-letting and bruise-bringing blast of malt liquor-soaked madness from these frenzied, East Bay punk rock destructors. A twisted wreck of punk and rock flavors influenced by alcohol, chaos, and a communal sense of weird-ass bullshit.
