***LOWLANDS is a NYC/SD based dark post-punk band comprised of vocalist GABRIEL SPATUZZI and guitarist THOMAS C. GARCIA (MRS. MAGICIAN). Lowlands play slow, dark, mimimalist ghost-punk that draws inspiration form the likes of Rowland S. Howard and Ennio Morricone. Recorded in fits and starts on two different coasts throughout 2014 and 2015, Lover's Blessing is characterized by sparse droning arrangements and wistful, mostly ad-libbed lyrics that touch on themes of loneliness, isolation, architecture, sexual frustration and all forms of doubt (religious, self, etc.).
