Mr. Tube & The Flying Objects

***WAREHOUSE FIND!!! MR. TUBE AND THE FLYING OBJECTS is a musical conglomerate that’s spearheaded by PALL JENKINS (THREE MILE PILOT, BLACK HEART PROCESSION, UGLY CASANOVA) and BRAD LEE (THE ALBUM LEAF) along with dozens of others. This is the newest oldest chapter of the Freddie Dillinger saga. Written in the 1950s & 60s, brought to life in 2015. Planet stomping music. The process of bringing to life the lost songs of Freddie Feelgood and the Real Good Feelings has been rife with challenges. From the painstaking process of piecing together the few recordings that exist of the band’s original performances, to the struggle of clearing ownership and publishing rights long held by Freddie’s corrupt manager (who we finally tracked down to a small village near the Niger Delta), and finally the meticulous re-recording process involving dozens of San Diego’s finest musicians spread out over a grueling 8 years. Limited to 500.

***MR. TUBE & THE FLYING OBJECTS swing in with a collection of planet stomping music for planet stomping troopers. In the summer of 2002 PAULO ZAP†POLI of the BLACK HEART PROCESSION met MR. TUBE (aka FREDDIE DILLINGER of 1960s and ‘70s group FREDDIE FEELGOOD AND THE REAL GOOD FEELINGS), over a couple of years the two became friends and Zappoli asked if they could put out a record of ureleased Mr. Tube songs Dillinger had written between 1968 and 1979. It was agreed and the two hit the studio eventually coming out with ten songs that create new astral planes like galactic poison floating between the 68 planets, or something to that effect.
