Ayodele Nzinga is a multi-hyphenated artist: actress, director, playwright, poet, and educator. She directs Oakland's oldest African Theater Company, Lower Bottom Playaz, and founded multiple arts collectives. As Executive Director of BAMBD CDC, she produces BAMBDFEST International Biennial. Oakland's inaugural Poet Laureate holds MFA/Ph.D. degrees and international recognition.
