Total Punk is keeping things in Atlanta for a little longer. Following up GG KING's- Remain Intact with the new album from PREDATOR- 'Spiral Unfolds.' The two bands share members including Ryan Bell who masterfully recorded both albums. Atlanta has the best punk scenes going and Predator are its longest running practitioners. Despite the seven years since Predator's last full length 'Complete Earth' and vocalist Brannon Greene splitting time between Predator and his other projects Hospice and Nag (both of which just dropped new albums) 'Spiral Unfolds' shows the band at its strongest. The lead work is minimal but razor sharp and extremely effective. Brannon talk/sings the vocals but the hooks are so large that the understated approach lends them more assurance. PREDATOR are kings of efficiency. Stating as much with what is there as what isn't. Dark, biting, and 100% TOTAL PUNK.

***After a few years of relative silence Atlanta’s main purveyors of mean and lean punk, PREDATOR, are back on the scene. In the downtime they have managed to further tighten their already razor sharp sound offering their two best tracks yet. Dark, minimal and brooding with buzzsaw guitars and muscled delivery. Predator are almost hypnotic in their simplicity, but still manage a full and powerful sound. 100% TOTAL PUNK! Edition of 500 copies.

***PREDATOR has been kicking around the Atlanta punk scene for quite some time, and though there early releases were really good I feel with 2013’s Complete Earth LP they finally nailed down the formula. In a punk scene rich with talent Predator is the band to beat. Minimal, dark, Wire/Agnew influenced punk tunes with deadpan vocal delivery and incredibly strong production. The new single is two of my favorite tracks yet. "Drag" is the best single to come out of Atlanta since “Joyless Masturbation” by GG KING, who incidentally plays drums in the band. 100% TOTAL PUNK! Edition of 500 copies with handstamped covers.
