Shazy Hade was formed out of the ashes of two Wisconsin prominent local independent bands in the 2000s, The New Recruits and Hum Machine. Singer-songwriter Eric 'Shinky' Shinker adheres to the edicts of punk, growing up on the south side of Waukesha, WI. Shinky had performed alongside Hum Machine's drummer Eric Hartz in the 90s Madison act Coolhand Band. There they formed the bond that would transition into Shazy Hade's unique brand of indie punk garage rock. Triumph Returns Again! is Shazy Hade's 3rd full length and produces infectious songwriting in the vein of Robert Pollard and 1960s garage psychedelia. Recorded around 2008, the album was lost after the band’s recording studio was bulldozed down and destroyed without the band’s knowledge. After they cleared through the remains, there was one CD version of the session, but the guys never found it until it was recently re-discovered after cleaning out some boxes from the basement. 'We knew we had a copy of the recording, but forgot where it was, and then we all moved on to other projects, so we forgot about it for a while, said drummer Eric Hartz.' After the band reconnected at Travis Nelsen's (Okkervil River / Coolhand Band) funeral they decided they should probably release the lost Shazy Hade album before they all die.
