***Veteran Wyoming pop-punkers Teenage Bottlerocket are primed to release their latest EP, a double A-side 7" titled "So Dumb" / "So Stoked." The band's first new music since 2021's Sick Sesh LP, the pair of title tracks represent the dichotomy of emotions felt by the band members during the tumultuous year of 2020. Specifically, bassist Miguel Chen wrote "So Dumb" to express his frustration at what he observed as people's unwillingness to work together for positive change, while Guitarist/singer Kody Templeman wrote “So Stoked” because of the hope inspired by what he saw as forward momentum and progress in and around his home of Denver, CO. Rounding out the LP are two additional tracks, "It Wasn't Enough" & "Heart Attack." Featuring a jacket designed by Jim Barnes to represent both "So Dumb" and "So Stoked" on each side.

***It’s hard to believe pogo punks Teenage Bottlerocket (or TBR as the kids call them) formed over two decades ago. They’ve toured the world countless times. They kept the leather jacket-and-Converse look alive through an increasingly neon landscape. They’ve written songs about KISS, Top Gun and Minecraft. Hell, they’ve even been on CNN a few times! So please welcome back to the spotlight Wyoming’s own Teenage Bottlerocket, with their ninth album, the 12-track Sick Sesh! Recorded in November 2020 at the Blasting Room (the band’s eighth straight full-length with producer Andrew Berlin), Sick Sesh! is deliberately rougher around the edges than the last few TBR albums.

***TEENAGE BOTTLERROCKET is back on Fat! After building a loyal following with their first three albums, TBR made their Fat debut in 2009 with the highly successful They Came From The Shadows, followed by 2012’s Freak Out!. After a brief stint on Rise Records, which saw the release of Tales From Wyoming, TBR is back with a brand new 7” to go along with their new full length Stealing The Covers (where they have taken obscure/unknown punk songs and put their pogo twist on them). “Goin’ Back To Wyo” features two brand new songs, showing TBR hasn’t missed a beat with their classic “1-2-3-4”, and we could not be happier to have them home again.

With Stealing The Covers Teenage Bottlerocket have put their pogo-punk stamp on 14 cover songs. Instead of going the traditional route of covering well-known hits, TBR take the opposite approach on Stealing the Covers by putting their unique twist on songs from obscure and unsigned bands that have caught their fancy over the years. The result is just as satisfying as any of their original work, packed with pop-punk power and ear catching melody from start to finish.
