***The second Toxic Assets release is the debut EP from Austin’s UNMOTHERED, who mine the veins of AmRep/Karp noise-rockin’ of old and overlay it with a tight and eerie blackened sensibility. Call it an EP, it’s seven songs at around 28 minutes. The band includes former members of LIONS OF TSAVO and THE HIDDEN HAND, but are not particularly like either of those bands. They call it “haunt rock” and that it is! Edition of 500 copies.
