Recorded between their first and second albums at the legendary RMS studio in London (known for producing records from Damned, Special Duties, Chaotic Dischord and countless others), several of these tracks were released on compilations at the time, but never before have they been presented as a single album as featured here. For those unfamiliar with the Vanilla Muffins sound, as their "sugar oi!" banner suggests, the group plays infectious punk with a Cocksparrer inspired knack for melody, and an aptitude for pre-punk glitter rock and power pop. The album has been out of print for over 20 years and is now available again on vinyl and for the first time in the States. The Vanilla Muffins combine the best parts of classic UK Oi! with a healthy dose of the smarts and catchiness and maybe one of the biggest and most popular Oi! bands in the world.
