Three-headed dog Exiles From Clowntown return from a brief slumber, with a grip of killer new songs in hand. These two are among the first they’ve ever laid to tape in a so-called proper studio. The edges may be smoothed and instrumentation added, but the essence of the band (and affiliates) of yore is still very much present. And hey, no holepunches! Oh, well.
