Always Almost There documents the original lineup of Cleveland, Ohio's Prisonshake, drawing from the dozen or so singles, EPs, compilations, and import-only albums released between 1987 and 1992. Volume 2 hews closer to the band's more delicate, introspective side, but not exclusively so. The majority of tracks have been remastered from the original tapes.
