***BACK IN STOCK!!! Hidros 3 was written for SONIC YOUTH by MATS GUSTAFSSON in connection with KulturBro 2000. The piece was premiered on Oct 9th 2000 at the Ystad Konstmuseum, Sweden. Together, Gustafsson & Sonic Youth teams up with American guitar legend LOREN CONNORS , LOTTA MELIN, DAVID STACKENÄS, and LINDHA KALLERDAHL. Armed with five guitars, electronics, voices, audiobox and contrabass saxophone, the group creates a massive and monumental sound. Includes an absolutely stunning vocal by KIM GORDON that gives the album an almost a pop feel. Hauntingly beautiful, raw and poetic.
