Soroche

***Soroche returns with Asesinostalgia, their highly anticipated debut LP, out October 9, 2026 on Electric Cowbell Records.

Over two years in the making, Asesinostalgia fuses cumbia, punk, ska and psychedelic textures into a singular, electrifying sound. With reverb-drenched guitars, Farfisa, accordion, percussion and theremin, the band channels both urgency and atmosphere, creating music that's danceable, raw and deeply felt.

Across ten songs, Soroche explores working-class existentialism ("Espera"), sacrifice ("Bala Perdida"), immigration ("El Desierto") and the pull of history and memory ("Leyenda"). The album title Asesinostalgia refers to the "call of the void" that comes from looking too deeply into the past—becoming so consumed by nostalgia that you forget to live in the present.

Pressed on yellow vinyl.
