***The STIFFS were a top caliber UK punk rock/ power pop / mod band hailing from Blackburn, Lancashire. A favourite of Radio 1 DJ John Peel, the band’s singles got loads of attention on Peel’s show as well as other BBC Radio shows such DJ Mike Read show. Our new collection compiles the bands studio demos from 1978 – 1981. The demos are loaded with pure punk energy, while the released studio recordings showcase more of the band's power pop elements the demos are full on punk, the guitars are raw and the vocals blistering. tracks were featured on a limited-edition long out of print UK only CD in 2001 but never before on vinyl. This is the first ever complete vinyl compilation of these recordings. As usual you get the top tier packaging and artwork from PNV.
