20 Years. A Frantic Effort
Pirates Press

***To mark this milestone in their 20 year career DeeCRACKS are releasing A Frantic Effort, a massive triple 10" colored vinyl retrospective compendium of their favorite songs from the past two decades. But don't think for a second that DeeCRACKS would try to sell you a stodgy, frozen-in-amber "Greatest Hits" collection. "We decided to revisit our career and re-recorded our favorites and what we think are the band's classics, as well as two completely new songs," says Mike. "This way, we have songs from 2003 up until 2023 on one album... and in one great sounding production."

***When Calgary, AB punk rockers Territories released their self-titled debut album on Pirates Press Records in 2018, they were a new band with a lot to say and a lot to prove. What a difference five years, and a clutch of the catchiest, best-written, and most thought-provoking punk rock songs makes! In the interim, the band kept busy, with the six song EP When the Day is Done as well as a split with fellow Canadians The Vicious Cycles, but the band have truly outdone themselves with the 11 songs on Colder Now, deftly navigating the waters of the so-called “difficult second record” with a collection of songs that will blow the minds of longtime fans and newcomers alike. This is a band that pours their hearts and their minds into both their music and lyrics, tackling big issues, but always articulated from a relatable, personal perspective that acts as a rallying cry and a beacon of hope for everyone who feels alienated by modern society. The world is unfortunately still a dangerous place, but for those who dare to dream of something better, there is solace in the fact that Territories are back to give voice to those dreams with Colder Now.

***Over 30+ years, The Slackers have remained one of the most prolific musical combos in the game. In the course of drawing from a seemingly endless well of songwriting creativity, the band has released music on some of the biggest labels in independent music, as well as on much smaller boutique ska & reggae labels across the entire world, including NYC’s Special Potato, which has served as home to many of the band’s home-brew releases over the decades. 2008’s Self Medication LP was one of the latter releases, initially released on CD through Indication Records, and a single pressing on black vinyl from Special Potato/Indication. The record has been out of print for the ensuing 15 years and a tragically overlooked chapter in the band’s history. The sound of this record, then, is that of a band who have the talent and the confidence to chart their course, experimenting with a diverse sonic palette including elements of ska, reggae, swing, rock, and a lot of psychedelia, that nevertheless feels distinctly and unmistakably like them. And, of course, the band’s combination of earnest humanity and wry humor shines through in the lyrics, right from the opening line, “Every day is Sunday when you’re unemployed...” Indeed, this is the sound of The Slackers as dictated by The Slackers. Includes a bonus 7-inch of unreleased material.

***It is rare that any band displays the combination of talent and tenacity to continue connecting with audiences 3 decades into their career without becoming a cabaret show, but New York City ska/reggae institution THE SLACKERS continue to push boldly into the future with a fresh energy that belies their 30+ years! The latest release from these workhorses is the 12" single "Kill You." Recorded during the wildly productive sessions for Don't Let the Sunlight Fool Ya, this track is a mini-epic that clocks in at just over 7 minutes! The B-side is a dub mix of "Statehouse," from the Sunlight LP. "Statehouse" has a long history of its own; it is an updated version of "Wrongful Suspicion," which Slackers frontman Vic Ruggiero co-wrote for punk rock legends Rancid's 1998 LP Life Won't Wait. Both tracks feature the work of Victor Rice, an NYC ska wonder currently residing in Brazil, whose many accolades include two Latin Grammys, as well as production, engineering, and bass playing credits too numerous to list. Among these credits include frequent collaborations with The Slackers throughout their career, including producing the band's debut full length, 1996's Better Late Than Never.

***As one of the premier Oi! bands in Germany, STOMPER 98 are regarded as legends of working class punk rock. It is perhaps bitter irony that it was a workplace accident that left the band's frontman Sebi with a crushed foot, bedridden for nearly half a year, and needing to learn to walk all over again. Such a traumatic and life-altering event might crush a person's spirit as much as any bones, but for Sebi, it put life into perspective and fueled his desire to always rise above adversity stronger than ever. Besides, how could a band with such a rich history like Stomper 98 miss out on the chance to release a record for their 25th anniversary? On Stomper 98, the band lets their creative juices flow as listeners will get their share of punk, reggae, Oi!, shuffle, hardcore, and more. It helps to have the vision executed by an international all-star lineup of street punk legends, including RANCID & OLD FIRM CASUALS guitarist Lars Frederiksen, guitarist Tommi Tox, saxophonist Holgi Stomper, bassist Sille Riot, and drummer Stefan H.!

Wonk Unit / The Drowns - Split
Pirates Press

***The ties that bind together bands know nothing of national borders or oceans between continents, and for punk bands on tour, these relationships run deep. The latest addition to American punk band THE DROWNS (based in Seattle, WA) is guitarist SIMON, who played for years with the UK's WONK UNIT. Simon and his former Wonk Unit bandmate ALEX helped book The Drowns on a UK tour, and when both bands met each other in full in London, they weren't just fast friends, but like family. On this release, each band contributes one brand new song. The Drowns, armed with their sharp rock 'n roll sound, set their sights on a protest song about the state of the US in recent years, aptly titled "The Beast," while Wonk Unit opt for more personal territory with “Rebecca,” which deals with issues related to substance abuse, personal responsibility, and mental health. Taken together, the songs that comprise this split 7" represent two bands separated by geography, but united by friendship, mutual sonic admiration, and common purpose. Pirates Press Records is thrilled to bring them to the world on two colored vinyl variants, housed in an incredible spot UV jacket conceived by ZAK KAPLAN.

***“It’s not the destination, it’s the journey”—Ralph Waldo Emerson. If this famous quote is true, KEPI GHOULIE probably hopes never to reach the destination! On a musical journey now approaching 40 years, Pirates Press Records is proud to present: GROOVIE GHOULIES Travels With My Amp. Dating back to the year 2000 and out of print now for 20 years, this is the Groovie Ghoulies 6th official full length studio LP—the last album that the band would record for Lookout records. Travels With My Amp packs a few of the Groovie Ghoulies biggest “hits”: ‘The Highwayman’ and ‘Bye Bye Brain,’ along with perennial fan favorites ‘Hair of Gold (and skin of blue),‘ ’(The Girl Is) An Unsolved Mystery,‘,and ‘Ghoulie Family.’ The band returned for the third time to Sonic Iguana studios in Lafayette Indiana to have producer MASS GIORGINI at the helm. The line-up consists of Kepi on vocals, ROACH on guitar, B-FACE on bass, and AMY on drums.

***REISSUED!!! After forging relationships with numerous underground labels and distros releasing 7"s, tapes, LPs, and CDs, by 2006, UK punks THE RESTARTS were ready to bring their operations in-house. Drummer DARRAGH O'NEILL invested in a 24-track digital recorder, and the band got to work crafting the recordings that would ultimately become the Outsider LP on their own. Following that same DIY spirit, the band designed their own packaging featuring art by bassist/vocalist KIERAN PLUNKETT that would become some of the band's most iconic and recognizable imagery. Furthermore, they formed their own label, called (what else?) No Label Records, to self-release Outsider with help from the aforementioned relationships with distros such as Active Distribution. Sonically, the album represented a step forward in every way for the band, with the addition of ROBIN LICKER on guitar and vocals injecting new energy into the band's established raging sound. The band found themselves including more ska breaks alongside thrashier crowd-pleasers like “They’re On To You” and “Koyaanisqatsi,” as well as stepping into anthemic territory with mid-tempo rabble-rousers like "Bolloxology" and the title track “Outsider.” The resulting record is the sound of a band who had put in years of hard work, indeed coming into their own and forging their path forward on their terms. Fans across the world recognized this and gave Outsider an enthusiastic reception.

29:29 Split Vision by Subhumans

Subhumans

29:29 Split Vision
Pirates Press

***So named because the CD version originally clocked in time-wise at 29 minutes and 29 seconds, ‘29:29 Split Vision’ was recorded in December 1985, just after the band had split up, and they wanted to bring some closure to that period by recording the new songs they were working on at the time, alongside some of their older material that hadn’t yet been properly recorded. Whilst the B-side hints at the underlying reasons the band split up – the inevitable ‘musical differences’, with the three newest songs on the release literally worlds apart (excuse the pun) from their classic material - the five songs on the A-side are veritable belters, and ‘Split Vision’ remains a frustratingly fascinating offering from this most unconventional of punk bands. As a staple of the punk scene, ALL of the Subhumans records are still in high demand, and this long overdue repress of this album couldn’t be coming at a better time. Subhumans are one of the most influential bands from the UK Anarcho-Punk scene of the 80's, filed right alongside Crass and Conflict, and just as relevant today as they were during the darkest days of Thatcher's Britain. Take your choice in how to label them – Punk, UK82, Crusty, etc. – therein lies the attraction and consequent reason for their popularity, the band epitomizes non-conformity and connects with people in many different scenes. This collection is an important piece of history in the world of punk that Subhumans helped create.

Day The Country Died
Pirates Press

***The astounding debut album that established the Subhumans as a genuine force to be reckoned with, The Day The Country Died captured both the band’s serious anarcho punk ideology and their irreverent sense of humour. It was apparent from the off that here was a band that could not only stimulate your brain but also put a big shit-eating grin on your face as you jumped about to them. And the now-iconic artwork by Nick Lant—probably his most recognizable piece of work for the band—has adorned countless thousands of jackets and T-shirts since. Recorded over just four days during the heady summer of 1982, and released six months later in January 1983, when it quickly climbed to No. 3 in the UK’s Independent Charts, this exhilarating collection of songs has endured for four decades, the band still regularly kicking their live set off with the opening track, ‘All Gone Dead’. ***The EP-LP was originally released in early 1986, after the band had split in November 1985, and collected for convenience the first four Subhumans EPs onto one disc. This includes the fiery six-track debut, ‘Demolition War’, that was first unleashed at the end of 1981, the powerful and provocative ‘Reason For Existence’ and the perennial ‘Religious Wars’, both from 1982, and the intensely angry ‘Evolution’, from May 1983, whose title track rages so effectively against the senseless tragedy that is vivisection. Whilst never intended to be released as a full-length album when first recorded, most of the eighteen tracks on offer are still staples in the band’s set to this day, and hang together very cohesively as an essential body of work. From Cradle to Grave by Subhumans

Subhumans

From Cradle to Grave
Pirates Press

***With their eclectic influences and scintillating musicianship, Subhumans were never going to be content to trot out anarcho punk by numbers, but no-one was really prepared for the progressive brilliance of their sophomore album, ‘From The Cradle To The Grave’. Whilst the A-side contains nine short sharp bursts of energised punk, gleefully embracing all points of the spikey spectrum, from the breakneck thrash of ‘Reality Is Waiting For A Bus’ to the ominous dirge of ‘Wake Up Screaming’, it is the ambitious title track that really captures the imagination, its sprawling sixteen-plus-minute running time telling the sorry tale of the human life cycle across a myriad of dynamic acts. If anyone was still in any doubt, it was the band defiantly setting out their stall as a creative entity that existed outside the stifling constraints of perceived musical sub-genres. Committed to tape by the visionary John Loder at Southern Studios at the tail end of 1983, it was released in April 1984 to widespread acclaim – and only kept from the No. 1 spot in the Independent Charts by New Order! Time Flies / Rats
Pirates Press

***As the title suggests, this 1986 album compiled the eight-track ‘Time Flies… But Aeroplanes Crash’ 12”, originally recorded and released in 1983, and the four-track EP, ‘Rats’, that had been recorded during the summer of 1984 and released in early ’85. ‘Rats’ might just be the band’s most powerful and compelling release, the title track inspired by the Stop The City protests of ’84 that sought to highlight the undeniable links between first world capitalism and third world poverty. Whilst it’s something of a mish-mash, with several rowdy live tracks and a few, very enjoyable re-recordings of old Stupid Humans songs (Stupid Humans being guitarist Bruce’s pre-Subhumans band…), it contains two of the Subhumans’ best-loved tracks, ‘Work Rest Play Die’ and ‘Susan’, the latter something of an oddity as it’s a stirring piano piece, with lyrics written by Steve Hamilton, an old friend of the band. ***Arguably the highlight of their Eighties output, the third Subhumans album was recorded at Woodlands Studio, Castleford, during Spring 1985, and released early the following year, a few months after the band had split. Opening with the slightly incongruous instrumental, ‘33322’, what it lacks in rampant speed, it more than compensates for with some truly sublime compositions, assured arrangements and dizzying time changes. With a front cover illustration inked by vocalist Dick, ‘Worlds Apart’ saw the band find a veritable sweet spot in their song-writing, spawning many of their best-loved tracks, such as ‘Apathy’, ‘Businessmen’ and ‘Can’t Hear The Words’, but every single track on the album remains an understated masterpiece. ***FLORES Y FUEGO are a hardcore punk band from Guadalajara, Mexico. Feeding on the anger and discontent of modern life, the band’s lyrical themes range from questioning their place in the world to providing a voice for the voiceless of society. They began to compose songs in the final days of 2019, as a collaboration between RAFAEL & EDUARDO, previously of the band CUCHILLO. By May of 2020, MELISA, the band’s frontwoman, put lyrics and soul to these instrumentals, and poured that attitude and energy into the band’s first demo recordings. The first demo, and further recording sessions while the world was on pause, would become this record—Altar. Flores Y Fuego possess a powerful, raw punk sound, but they are a band that defies limitations. They infuse their music with outside influences and elements, and use their platform to speak from their experience of day-to-day life and its frustrations. They provide their point of view in the form of social critique from Melisa’s uniquely sharp perspective as a woman and an individual.

***These New Yorkers have been skillfully crafting their signature gospel of roots-reggae-ska fusion for over 30 years, and in doing so rightfully earning a reputation as one of the most engaging live bands in the world. Back in 1996, the NY Times declared the Slackers to be part of “the sound of New York”, a mantle they haven’t given up since. Originally released on Hellcat in 2006, Peculiar has remained timeless, continuously heralded as a true testament to their energy on stage and what makes them such a treasured band by fans across the globe. Alternative Nation called it “protest music made for dim, sweaty basements—The Slackers would sound at home supporting Rancid just as well as some grizzled New Orleans electric blues trio.” While Peculiar isn't a proper live album, the band managed to turn a club into their studio and truly strike a balance between their incredible live show and their equally impassioned studio work. The rhythm parts of the album were laid down during a live performance at renowned Dutch ska club Ernesto’s (in Sittard, Holland), with vocal overdubs added later in the studio. The setlist also includes tracks from their previous War Criminal EP, reinterpreted, reframed, and played quite differently from their original release. ***The Question is a crucial cornerstone in the history of NYC ska/reggae legends, The Slackers, and an essential album in the collection of any fan of the band or the multiple genres they effortlessly fuse together. Originally released in 1998, The Question marked the third LP in three years for the band, and the immediate follow-up to their breakthrough album, Redlight, from the previous year. The album was written and recorded amidst a nonstop schedule of touring and live performances, as well as frontman Vic Ruggiero's major creative hand in Rancid's album Life Won't Wait, released earlier that same year, on which he played organ, piano, percussion, and guitar, receiving co-writing credits on much of the record. All of the above contributed to cementing The Slackers' place at the forefront of the 90s ska revival in the US & worldwide, as well as their reputation for being one of the most authentic bands paying respect to the roots of the genre (one of the album's dedications is to the late Skatalites founding member, Tommy McCook). With so many more eyes and ears tuned in, the band rose to the occasion and delivered on the high expectations. Selections from this record, including "Have the Time," "Keep Him Away," and "Face in My Crowd," became staples in the band's live set and fan-favorites, with "Have the Time" still often receiving honored placement as a set-closer or encore nearly 25 years later.

***Before Shock Troops even hit the shops, the bands Guitarist Micky Beaufoy had left, replaced with Shug O’Neil who brought a fresh approach to song writing giving Running Riot in ’84 a sound that was different to the bands recorded output to date. Cock Sparrer split up before the record hit the pressing plant meaning they had very little input in the release. Only 8 studio songs were records, so label Syndicate bolstered this with two ‘live’ (in the studio!) tracks. The front cover was also a last minute thrown together affair by the label who decided that crowd trouble from the 1979 West Ham vs Millwall match was suitable. The album was recorded in the same studio as Angelic Upstarts ‘Power of the Press’ and ‘Saturdays Heroes’ by The Business and like a fine wine has become more popular with age.

***Some records so perfectly capture an artist at a critical point in their creativity, and make such an impact, that they become not just synonymous with the band, but an essential piece of music history. Such is the case with Shock Troops, the album that not only became Cock Sparrer’s most acclaimed record, but a defining moment for Oi!, punk rock, and underground music in general! Originally released by Razor Records in 1983, Shock Troops proved to consist of song after song which would each become anthems of the burgeoning Oi! scene and far beyond. From the opening of “Where Are They Now?” on through “Take ‘Em All,” “We’re Coming Back,” all the way to the closing chords of “Out On An Island,” there isn’t a song in the bunch that any self respecting punk rocker can’t shout along to. ***For many, this band requires no introduction, as they are indeed legends in a vibrant scene stretching across the world. At the same time, for anyone not part of that category, they are far and away the best band that you’ve not heard yet. This full length, their sixth, truly exemplifies how incredible and how special this band is. Rather than follow the all-too-common trajectory of releasing a new full length every few years, and following it up with tour after tour, SPARRER really remained selective with the new music they’ve chosen to release, the gigs they were willing to play, and for many people that is what really sets them apart. There is no ‘fluff’ - ever! All of their albums are classics, and this one is as well. Hit after hit, hook after hook, singalong after sing-along and jam packed with substance, Forever is an album treasured by hundreds of thousands of fans and will be for decades to come. These best of friends wear their hearts on their sleeves, and bring an intensity and emotional component to everything that they do – whether it is recording new tracks, or getting on stage to thoroughly impress thousands of fans with their incomparable and truly spectacular live performances. Guilty As Charged 50th Anniversary by Cock Sparrer

Cock Sparrer

Guilty As Charged 50th Anniversary
Pirates Press

***The first of the pair of records representing Cock Sparrer’s re-emergence amidst the madness of the 1990s punk rock boom, Guilty as Charged stands as a testament to the timelessness of the Cock Sparrer sound, as these punk rock originators staked their claim to show the new generation how it’s done. On Guilty as Charged, the band’s playing is in fine form, and the lyrics display the same exhilarating, anthemic spirit that built the band’s reputation, as seen on tracks like “Roads To Freedom.” At the same time, the band’s winking, wry sense of humor shines through, never more than when they provide a tongue-in-cheek sequel to one of their all-time classics in the form of “I Fit Central Heating (Working Pt 2).” They even open up to show the Sparrer version of a romantic soft side in “Tough Guys.” But truly, for many fans, the highlight of the album is “Because You’re Young.” Perhaps something of a spiritual answer to the early Sparrer hit “What’s It Like To Be Old?,” “Because You’re Young” is a song from rock & rollers who have the wisdom and lived experience of years on their side. It has stood the test of time as an all-time favorite of Sparrer audiences, and is represented on nearly any list of the band’s definitive songs. Remastered once again in celebration of the bands 50th anniversary, this 180gram black vinyl pressing with a jacket on gold foil is the classiest and best-sounding version out there.

***With 2007s Here We Stand, legendary punk rockers Cock Sparrer moved into the 21st Century, and staked their claim on an exciting new era for the band.Never content to simply rest on the considerable laurels of their back catalog, the first Sparrer studio album since the 1997 not only put a new release into the hands of the old faithful and new fans alike, but kicked off a renewed period of active international touring and headlining festival appearances that has continued to this very day.

Two Monkeys 50th Anniversary by Cock Sparrer

Cock Sparrer

Two Monkeys 50th Anniversary
Pirates Press

***The second of the pair of records representing COCK SPARRER's re-emergence amidst the madness of the 1990s punk rock boom, Two Monkeys once again found these punk rock originators keeping time with the new generation while staying true to the classic sound that first made them an institution. Longtime fans were rewarded as the band added the final chapter to their "Working" trilogy—which they began on the classic Shock Troops and continued on Guilty as Charged—finally concluded on Two Monkeys with “I Live in Marbella (Working Pt 3).” However, perhaps the two highlights of the proceedings display a different side of Cock Sparrer altogether and an emotional core for the album. "Battersea Bardot" is a nostalgic tribute to the late London-born actress Carol White. And finally, the band, now grown men with priorities for home and family, made space on the album for a love song, admiring the tough-as-nails women who had captured their hearts on “East End Girl.”

Don't Let The Sunlight Fool Ya
Pirates Press

***Pirates Press Records is unbelievably proud to announce the release of the first new Slackers full length album in seven years, and the first on Pirates! Filled front to back with true hits that could each stand alone as a single, this full length takes you on a real (musical) journey with this legendary band that so many have followed religiously for decades. The New York Times dubbed the Slackers part of 'the sound of New York,’ and the Slackers just keep at it, only getting better with age and experience—writing better and better songs, and continuing to build and strengthen that global Slackers family. This album is a testament to that age and experience.

***Pirates Press Records are happy to announce the long overdue reissue of one of The Slackers most acclaimed albums, Wasted Days. Their fourth studio double album, originally released in 2000, hasn’t been available since 2013, and is an essential component to any Slackers collection! It showcases The Slackers' innovative incorporation of diverse influences to create a sound that is truly their own - from ska, reggae, rocksteady, and dub to soul, R&B, calypso, jazz, and rock ’n roll. Led by Vic Ruggerio's unmistakably Bronx accented vocal stylings, the band never lose touch with the scrappy energy of where they call home, New York City.

***This is the album that started it all. Cock Sparrer has Shock Troops. Rancid has Let’s Go. The Aggrolites have Dirty Reggae; and off the back of this album emerged a scene embracing that term itself, that would grow to be bigger than the band could ever be. Dirty Reggae is now in-and-of-itself a category of Reggae that has taken the world by storm ever since its release. Nobody could’ve guessed at the time, preparing an assembly of musicians to support classic reggae artist Derrick Morgan, that the project would lead to a band that has truly changed the face of Reggae. As with other classic albums, from the moment the needle touches down, the music takes the listener to a special place; in this case, one that has and continues to inspire others to build upon what this integral band has started.

***Now an established force in the reggae world, the Aggrolites just kept pumping out a steady stream of toe-tapping adventures all the way through the first decade of the 2000’s. This, their third and final album released by Hellcat showcased the talent and synergy that caused so many to dance and sing along. To many fans, this album really represents the point when this band permanently affixed themselves as a ‘forever’ staple in the reggae world. It was broadcast far and wide thanks to the support of Hellcat/Epitaph, and just like the tunes, the band was carried far and wide too - literally. Nonstop. As much as it represents permanency for many, it also marks a change for the band - to take on more responsibility, and seize the opportunity to grab the reigns and carve out a more tailored next chapter. "IV" would be their last album on Hellcat, but it would by no means be the last thing heard from these passionate and illustrious cats. Quite the contrary.

Reggae Hit L.A. by Aggrolites

Aggrolites

Reggae Hit L.A.
Pirates Press

***The Aggrolites delivered a third album that completely busted the myth that surrounds this often difficult time in a band’s career. In 2007 they released this phenomenal record, containing what many consider their best ever track “Free Time.” This explosive album just built upon a momentum and trajectory that just continued to build steam and take them to new heights. Some of the real burners on this record still remain in the band’s live set, but for whatever reason, this one never made its way onto vinyl… until now. Using what could be unearthed of the original design, Pirates Press Records is proud to give this fantastic album new legs, and to give fans and collectors alike something very special to commemorate this period of the band’s history.

***You can’t keep a good band down. With ceaseless, unwavering fan support, The Aggrolites reconvened in late 2015 to lay down three songs, “Aggro Reggae Party,” “Help Man” and “Western Taipan,” which reminded them that, ‘hey, they’re still pretty damn good at this.’ They never gave up, thankfully! That one-off recording session was the spark that eventually created this album. Reggae Now! is the Aggrolites’ sixth full-length, and first with Pirates Press Records. Written and recorded throughout 2018, the album finds these architects of “Dirty Reggae” reestablishing their signature sound, re-recording those three songs from 2015 as well as adding on 11 more originals that snap, crackle and pop just as much as your favorite Aggro songs from back in the day.

***Argued by diehards as the most under-appreciated full-length by the Aggrolites, the Pirates would just make the case for it simply being the least-heard. So far… Following their exit from Hellcat, this album certainly didn’t get the mainstream press attention that the three previous albums did, or the outright accolades of their debut album Dirty Reggae; but for many true fans, this is the gem in the collection. It reflected the independent roots that remained planted in this band—the heart and soul if you will, and the reason people care so deeply for them, and their music. For years this record has been virtually impossible to find, and that unfortunate reality created the impetus for working to make THIS version a reality. With great pride, the Pirates present to you this remastered, stellar LP version of Rugged Road.

***After exploding onto the scene and turning just about every head in the reggae and ska world with their debut LP Dirty Reggae, this upstart group of hooligans set their sights on bigger stages, and new opportunities. With those leagues of new fans and burgeoning aspirations came lasting friendships and partnerships with Tim Armstrong and others in the Rancid/Hellcat/Epitaph family. They saw, heard and quickly dove in, supporting in the potential of this truly unique group any way possible. This, their self-titled LP debut on Hellcat Records (originally released in 2006) really became the fuel in the tank sending this band across the globe and back, bringing their ‘dirty reggae’ to the masses. Shockingly, the vinyl has been out of print for far too long - and being a key piece of the band's history, and a staple for many of us Pirates, we absolutely couldn’t let that persist.
