***SAVOY MOTEL is still on the case! Founding members, JEFFREY NOVAK (CHEAP TIME) and DILLON WATSON are like Sherlock and Dr. John (Watson), two dedicated fools keeping the high and low ends covered, with creamy electric bass and savory lead guitar. Meeting these dudes in the middle (sonically speaking) are a couple advanced cats (and old friends) from Music City U.S.A., dazzling pianist extraordinaire, CHRISTINA NORWOOD, and wonder boy drummer and percussionist, RYAN DONOHO. Together this new quartet drive that old "Savoy Sound" in a deep southern direction, down Route 45 toward the Mississippi Delta. The new album is, Love Your Face, the band's long awaited follow-up to their 2016 Self-Titled debut on What's Your Rupture? Following their debut, Savoy Motel recorded the aforementioned and now "legendary" Watermelon Fats album. After the band's opening slot on the North American Leg of pop-star Kesha's 2017 Rainbow World Tour, the Watermelon Fats album was scrapped and the original line-up "transitioned." At their former label's suggestion, the band started from scratch to create what would blossom into, Love Your Face, a fresh collection of hook filled ditties and alabaster funk sing-a-longs guaranteed to delight fans of Savoy Motel's earthy sound. Limited to 500 black vinyl copies, with an inner sleeve including additional band photos and all the song lyrics.

***BACK IN STOCK!!! Received a 7.4 rating from Pitchfork. "Savoy Motel have created a weird sonic world that has one foot in glittery glam, and the other in minimal, twitchy postpunk."—BrooklynVegan. "Savoy Motel recreate the sounds of the ’70s using the ’90s pastiche techniques of Beck, Ween and Royal Trux, compacting glam-rock, southern boogie, and Stax sax stabs into 8-bit videogame proportions."—Pitchfork.
