Side A features a group led by RUPERT CLEMENDORE, an amazing drummer, percussionist, and vibes player, covering territory from American Jazz and R&B, to Calypso. Side B, led by bassist JOHN BUDDY WILLIAMS is more straight forward Calypso though it is not without Jazz and R&B influences. An incredible LP showcasing the diversity of the fruitful Trinidadian musical scene of the mid 20th century. Lovingly reissued in a perfect replica of the original Cook jacket.
